Smartness raises €47M Series B for lodging AI growth

Italy-based Smartness raised €47 million in Series B funding led by United Ventures and CDP Venture Capital SGR, with participation from existing investor Partech. The company's agentic AI platform automates operations for hotels and vacation rentals. Founded in 2020, Smartness started with dynamic pricing and expanded to pricing, guest communications, CRM, payments, and property management. It is growing roughly 10% month over month, serves over 5,000 customers in 41 countries, and has grown more than sixfold since Series A. Its 2026 goal is to triple revenue through organic growth and acquisitions.
