Shitanjing Industrial Heritage Creates New Model of Cultural Tourism Integration

Shitanjing, an old mining area in Ningxia, has transformed through ecological restoration and industrial tourism, film shooting, and sports events. It produced over 170 million tons of coal, restored 146 square kilometers, attracted more than 60 film productions, and drew nearly 80,000 tourists after the release of 'Welcome to the Dragon Restaurant' in August 2026.
