Thailand travel advice: border security risks

The UK FCDO updated its travel advice for Thailand, warning against all but essential travel to parts of the Thailand-Malaysia border and areas within 20km of the Thailand-Cambodia border due to security risks. Land borders with Cambodia remain closed, some border temples are closed, and unexploded landmines are present. It also reminds that carrying cannabis out of Thailand is illegal.
