US State Department Maintains Level 3 Travel Advisory for Kuwait

The US State Department maintains a Level 3 Travel Advisory (Reconsider Travel) for Kuwait due to armed conflict, landmines, and crime. Since the onset of US-Iran hostilities on February 28, 2026, there have been ongoing drone and missile attacks from Iran, seriously disrupting commercial aviation. The FAA has issued a NOTAM. Only family members aged 18 or older may join US government employees.
