Kuwait: U.S. State Department Issues Level 3 Travel Advisory

The U.S. Department of State has issued a Level 3 travel advisory for Kuwait, advising reconsideration of travel due to armed conflict, landmines, and crime. Since the onset of U.S.-Iran hostilities on February 28, 2026, there has been an ongoing threat of drone and missile attacks from Iran, seriously disrupting commercial aviation. U.S. government employees require special authorization to travel, and only family members aged 18 or older may join.
