ACI World Reveals 2025 Rankings of the World's Busiest Airports

• Shanghai Pudong recorded the biggest jump in the top 10 for total passengers, rising from 10th to 5th on international traffic recovery, visa policy easing and expanded connectivity; Guangzhou Baiyun rebounded to 9th.
• ACI World noted growth is increasingly limited by infrastructure and slot constraints, aircraft delivery backlogs and air navigation limitations, while geopolitics is reshaping traffic flows.
