ACI report: airport revenue recovery lags passenger traffic rebound

ACI World's 2026 Airport Economics Report shows global passenger traffic reached 9.4 billion in 2024, 4% above 2019, but total revenues of US$194.9 billion remained 2.1% below pre-pandemic in real terms. Aeronautical and non-aeronautical revenues were 3% and 9% below 2019, expected to recover in 2025 and mid-2026. The report urges policymakers to support airport investment.
