Beijing Metro Line 19 Launches Themed Train Marking 90th Anniversary of the Long March

• At 11:09 on 29 September, the 'Great Expedition' themed train marking the 90th anniversary of the Long March victory launched on Beijing Metro Line 19.
• Its eight carriages feature eight chapters: 'Bloody Journey', 'The Long March Through the Lens', 'The Long March in Poetry', 'The Long March in Artefacts', 'The Long March in Letters', 'The Long March Through Foreign Eyes', 'Pioneers' and 'A New Journey'.
• Carriage seven, 'Pioneers', showcases China's transport development achievements, while carriage eight, 'A New Journey', displays the Long March rocket, China's space station, FAST and the Chang'e-6 lunar mission.
• Caogiao, Ping'anli and Mudanyuan stations host 'Passing the Torch' themed exhibitions, with seven Long March commemorative stamps at Caogiao, interactive experiences at Ping'anli and a 'Retracing the Long March' experience at Mudanyuan.
• According to Beijing Investment Rail Operation, the themed train runs daily during the National Day holiday and four days a week afterwards, planned through the end of December.
