4th Beijing International Canal Arts Week Opens

• On September 24 the 4th Beijing International Canal Arts Week opened in Beijing and runs through September 27.
• The arts week features 22 Chinese and international performances and more than 60 food and cultural-creative brands.
• It focuses on living preservation and inheritance of the Grand Canal World Cultural Heritage and links 13 well-known canals worldwide.
• The opening released the "Canal in Beijing" promotional film and 10 "Roaming Beijing - Grand Canal cultural theme tour" routes linking over 40 landmarks including Baifu Spring, Shichahai and the Beijing Grand Canal Museum.
• The arts week launched a "Canal x Mid-Autumn" market with three sections: tasting, goods and fun.
• The event connects with inbound tourism services, offering a one-day tour with dedicated shuttle from Capital Airport and promoting routes to over 2,000 overseas travel agencies in 26 countries and regions.
