EUROCONTROL and EASA launch AVENIR Environmental Catalogue

EUROCONTROL and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) have launched the AVENIR Environmental Catalogue, giving air navigation service providers (ANSPs) a structured overview of environmental tools, dashboards, use cases and analytical approaches. It supports monitoring environmental performance, analysing ATM inefficiencies, fuel burn and emissions, environmental assessment and reporting, and exploring operational and technical mitigation measures. Developed by the joint EUROCONTROL-EASA AVENIR Working Group, it is a practical, non-prescriptive resource that does not compare, validate or rank tools, and will evolve to include non-CO2 aviation impacts.
