FCDO advises against all but essential travel to parts of Ecuador

Ecuador's government declared a 60-day state of emergency from 15 September across eight provinces, increasing police and military presence, with a midnight-to-5am curfew in El Oro, Guayas, Los Rios and Manabi from 17 to 30 September.
