UK FCDO Updates Myanmar Travel Advice: Avoid All Travel to Parts

The UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) has updated its travel advice for Myanmar, warning of deteriorating security in parts. FCDO advises against all travel to Chin, Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine states, Sagaing and Magway regions, parts of Tanintharyi, northern Shan State, northern Mandalay Region, etc. Essential travel only is advised to other areas. The security situation may deteriorate at short notice, and the military regime can impose travel restrictions at any time.
