Sri Lanka and Viet Nam Join Regional Aviation Safety Data Sharing Initiative

Sri Lanka and Viet Nam formally joined the Regional Aviation Safety Data and Information Sharing Initiative on 8 September 2026, bringing participating states to seven. The initiative shares de-identified safety data to identify risks and trends. Over 13,000 safety reports have been pooled, covering January 2023 to April 2026.
