    The U.S. Department of State has issued a Level 2 travel advisory for Sri Lanka: Exercise Increased Caution due to civil unrest, terrorism, and landmines. Terrorist attacks may target tourist locations, transportation hubs, markets, government buildings, hotels, and other public areas.
