Actabl H1 2026 Hotel Labor Report: Productivity Gains Driven by Housekeeping Efficiency

Hospitality technology provider Actabl released its H1 2026 Hotel Labor Report via HotelData.com, benchmarking labor productivity using operational data from approximately 5,000 U.S. properties running its Hotel Effectiveness software across full-service and select-service segments. Hours per Occupied Room (HPOR) fell 3.1% year-over-year in full-service hotels and 3.5% in select-service hotels. Minutes per Occupied Room (MPOR) for select-service room attendants dropped 5.0% (about 1.2 minutes saved per room), while full-service room attendants improved MPOR by 2.7%.
