    Novotel and Paris Saint-Germain Launch 'The Long Game' Global Wellbeing Programme

    Novotel and Paris Saint-Germain unveiled 'The Long Game', a global programme translating Novotel's 'Longevity Everyday' vision into immersive hotel experiences, a worldwide digital content platform and a new campaign. The programme spans seven Novotel hotels across five continents, built around four wellbeing pillars—Eat, Sleep, Move and Meet—co-created with five Paris Saint-Germain Legends. Each hotel features themed spaces and QR codes unlocking exclusive player videos and tips; a global campaign launches in Q4.

    Sunmei Digital Intelligence and Accor Bring JO&JOE and greet to China

    On Sept 17, Sunmei Digital Intelligence Hotel Group and Accor held a new-brand strategic cooperation launch in Qingdao, bringing Accor's midscale lifestyle brand JO&JOE and midscale light-resort brand greet by Accor to the China market. Sunmei will be fully responsible for development, pre-opening and operations management of both brands in China. JO&JOE centers on 'social public areas plus stylish guest rooms' and will focus on first-tier cities; greet targets affordable pricing and convenience, with 50 stores expected in China by end-2026. The two firms previously operated Accor's Mövenpick and Sebel brands, with more than 40 Mövenpick projects under construction in China.

    Accor Weighs Acquisitions to Accelerate India Expansion

    Accor is considering acquisitions and other partnerships to accelerate its expansion in India, Duncan O'Rourke, the group's CEO for Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific, told Skift. In July, Accor and Treebo Hospitality Ventures called off a planned deal that would have given the Ibis and Mercure brands access to hundreds of hotels in smaller Indian cities. O'Rourke said the group has always been entrepreneurial and will not stop growing because the deal did not work out, adding that it remains open to opportunities in India and elsewhere, though he did not identify a potential target.
