National Standard on Scenic Spot Peak-Crowd Response Opens for Public Comment

On September 28, the National Tourism Standardization Technical Committee said the draft national standard "Specification for Responding to Peak Visitor Periods at Tourist Attractions" has been published on the National Public Service Platform for Standards Information for public comment. The draft classifies response levels into Level 3, Level 2 and Level 1 based on the ratio of real-time on-site visitors to daily maximum capacity, marked yellow, orange and red respectively, and sets downgrade and release conditions plus overall requirements.
