11th China Peking Opera Festival Opens October 15 in Wuhan

At the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's third-quarter 2026 press conference in Beijing on September 20, officials presented the 11th China Peking Opera Festival, to be held from October 15 to November 5 in Wuhan, Hubei, co-hosted by the ministry and the Hubei provincial government. The opening ceremony on October 15 at Hongshan Auditorium features the Hubei Peking Opera Theatre's original work "Hanyang Zao"; the closing ceremony on November 5 at Qintai Grand Theatre features Wuhan Peking Opera Theatre's new production "Yuanyang Jian".
