    Perk Partners with Hotel Platform Katanox

    Perk has formed a strategic partnership with lodging distribution and payments platform Katanox, giving Perk access to Katanox's platform to streamline how hotel bookings are made, paid for, reconciled and settled. The two companies will also collaborate to broaden Perk's hotel partner network through Katanox. Katanox uses account-to-account payment infrastructure that reduces the need for card-based payments for hotel bookings, and its platform connects hotels and travel agents to bring together payments, reconciliation, settlement and distribution.     Conferma Hits 95% Non-Fax Delivery, Targets Year-End US Fax Shutdown

    Virtual payment technology provider Conferma is advancing its global "Ditch the Fax" initiative, having switched off fax-based virtual credit card (VCC) delivery across more than 100 countries in Africa, the Middle East and South America. Non-fax channels now represent roughly 95% of payment communications across Conferma's global travel network, and early data from regions where fax has been retired shows about a 2% increase in virtual card payment completion rates.
