ICAO Council President to Open IATA Wings of Change Europe

IATA announced that ICAO Council President Toshiyuki Onuma will open Wings of Change Europe (WOCE) on 15 October in Brussels. The aeropolitical conference will address the geopolitical landscape, competitiveness, the EU policy agenda, passenger rights, airport legislation and safety, with confirmed speakers from the European Commission's DG MOVE and airline and airport CEOs. IATA said European aviation faces onerous regulation and high costs, and that global standards and industry-government cooperation are needed to improve competitiveness.
