8th China Poetry Festival Opens October 12 in Taizhou, Zhejiang

At the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's third-quarter 2026 press conference in Beijing on September 20, officials presented the 8th China Poetry Festival, to be held from October 12 to 23 in Taizhou, Zhejiang under the theme "Poetry Surging from Mountains and Seas, Poetic China". It is co-hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the China Writers Association and the Zhejiang provincial government. The opening ceremony is on October 12 at the Tiantai County Cultural Center Grand Theatre; the closing is on October 23 at the Taizhou Prefecture City cultural tourism area in Linhai.
