dormakaba Acquires Alliants to Merge Lock Hardware with Digital Guest Engagement

Access-control hardware maker dormakaba signed a binding agreement to acquire guest-experience platform Alliants, merging physical lock infrastructure with guest messaging, contactless check-in, concierge and agentic AI software. Alliants' digital key engine delivers room keys directly to Apple Wallet and Google Wallet without requiring guests to download a native hotel app. Both vendors pledge ongoing API interoperability, letting hotels pair dormakaba locks or Alliants software with third-party PMS, access-control or guest-engagement platforms. Alliants currently powers guest engagement and digital key workflows across more than 100,000 hotel rooms worldwide.
