'First Village of the Long March' Zhongfu Village Becomes a Gold-Medal Tourism Village

On September 10, the 'Torch of the Long March Sets Off Again' event was held in Zhongfu Village, Nanshan Town, Changting County, Longyan City, Fujian Province. Zhongfu Village is known as the 'First Village of the Red Army's Long March'; in late September 1934, Red Army soldiers withdrew to Zhongfu after the Songmaoling battle and set off on the Long March. In 2025, the village received about 406,900 visitors, up about 62% year on year, and generated tourism revenue of over 6 million yuan, up about 50%.
