Disney's New Metric Highlights Cruise Growth
Disney introduced a new 'global guests' metric in the first nine months of fiscal 2026, blending park attendance and passenger cruise days, up 4% year-over-year. The metric made its debut in an August quarterly report, reflecting the company's global and diversified experiences strategy. Disney plans to more than double its cruise fleet to 13 ships by end of 2030, part of a 10-year, $60 billion investment in experiences, with about 20% earmarked for cruise expansion.
