    Traxo has established a long-term technology and mutual referral partnership with technology platform Otonoma to connect off-channel corporate booking data from more than 1,000 agency and supplier points of sale into Otonoma's Paranet network. The network monitors itinerary issues and coordinates responses across the entire trip, such as when a flight delay may cause a traveler to miss a meeting or dinner reservation. The two parties are currently recruiting a limited number of corporate travel programs to participate in a pilot, with a full opening expected in the fourth quarter of this year.

    Airbnb has launched consumer-facing AI features in the US, including natural language search supporting text or voice on the homepage and in the app, covering listings, experiences and services, but not yet hotels. The feature also provides AI filters, for example entering "baby" brings up options such as "cribs", "playgrounds" and "toys", and search results automatically generate AI listing comparisons and AI-generated listing descriptions.

General manager Steven Lang said that for mining and medical repatriation clients, where timing, accuracy and responsiveness are critical, this is an important step forward in service delivery.     Expedia is cutting 58 roles in Seattle, according to a Washington WARN notice filed this week, with the layoffs set to take place between November 21 and December 1. The notice lists several senior roles, including an SVP position Skift previously reported in August, and of 31 total technical positions, 18 are in data science and machine learning.
