Gencom Restructures into Two Divisions, Appoints New Leaders

Miami-based investment firm Gencom has restructured into two divisions: Gencom Capital for investments and Gencom Real Estate for development, construction, and asset management. Chief Investment Officer Alessandro Colantonio will lead Gencom Capital, while Donald McGregor has been promoted to President of Gencom Real Estate. The move positions the company for its next phase of growth as a global real estate investment and hospitality platform. Gencom manages nearly $8 billion in assets and owns 24 properties, including the recently acquired Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park.
