    Century Cruises' Yangtze Flagship Century Vision Debuts with New Premium Experience

    Century Cruises' new Yangtze flagship, Century Vision, held its maiden voyage ceremony at Chongqing's Chaotianmen on 21 September 2026, joining the Century Premium fleet. The same day, Century Cruises launched its 'Century Premium Brand Experience' centred on dining and service, covering four-day/three-night Chongqing-Yichang and five-day/four-night Yichang-Chongqing itineraries. The Yangtze fleet will form three product tiers: Century Select, Century Premium and Century Luxury. Century Vision is 149.99 metres long, 15,000 gross tonnes, with seven decks, 236 cabins and a maximum capacity of 650 passengers.

    Club Med opens beach-and-safari resort in South Africa

    On 17 September, Fosun International's Club Med Lifestyle Group announced the opening of Club Med South Africa Beach & Safari Resort in KwaZulu-Natal. With investment exceeding 2 billion rand, the resort has more than 480 rooms — over 400 at the beach resort and 70-plus at Vikela Safari Lodge — making it the group's first dual beach-and-safari resort and South Africa's first all-inclusive resort. It sits about 30 minutes from King Shaka International Airport and 45 minutes from Durban, drawing guests from roughly 30 countries and regions. The group currently operates 69 resorts across more than 40 countries and regions on six continents, targeting 85 by 2030.

    On September 17, Fosun International's Club Med Lifestyle Group announced the opening of Club Med South Africa Beach and Safari Resort in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, with more than 200 guests attending. The resort represents investment of over 2 billion rand and has more than 480 rooms, including over 400 at the beach resort and more than 70 at Vikela Safari Lodge, which sits within an 18,000-hectare private reserve.
