HyperGuest receives $25 million investment from Apax, plans international expansion

Hotel distribution service provider HyperGuest has received a $25 million investment from private equity firm Apax, which will be used to accelerate international expansion and invest in its technology platform to help hotels respond to AI's changes to the distribution landscape. HyperGuest was founded in 2020 and said its recent cumulative total transaction value surpassed $1 billion; in 2023 it completed a $23 million Series A funding round. Apax previously invested in Guesty and in 2023 acquired a majority stake in IBS Software.
