China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism: Tourism Complaints Down 39.24% This Year

At a September 24 State Council Information Office briefing, Man Hongwei, Director of the Resource Development Department of China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism, outlined three priorities for tourism during the 15th Five-Year Plan: strengthening tourism's livelihood benefits, refining services, and enhancing safety. Measures include encouraging scenic-area combo tickets, cultural tourism annual cards and dedicated consumption vouchers, optimizing reservations and opening hours at popular sites, improving service quality evaluation, and coordinating with relevant departments on tourism safety oversight. Nationwide tourism complaints fell 39.24% year on year this year.
