China Tourism Performance Box Office Reaches RMB 17.442 Billion in 2025

The China Performing Arts Association released the 2025 China Tourism Performance Market Annual Report on Sept 21, showing 198,700 large and medium-sized tourism performances in 2025, up 4.95% year-on-year; box office revenue of RMB 17.442 billion, up 6.43%; and 87.9897 million attendees, up 3.01%. The industry is entering a stable development phase, shifting from scale expansion to quality improvement. The report notes an 'east strong, west thriving, north-south linkage' pattern, with average ticket price reaching RMB 298.8 in 2025.
