Airbnb accelerates hotel push, 'stepping on the gas'

Airbnb said its hotel initiative is performing better than expected and is accelerating expansion. Hotel nights are growing three times as fast as the homes business, though still a single-digit percentage. The company partnered with boutique hotel operator Lark to bring over 75 properties. Q2 revenue was $3.6 billion, up 17% year over year.
