Amadeus Data: Tromso, Norway Tops Holiday Hotel Occupancy as Global Rates Rise 7% Year-on-Year

Amadeus Demand360 data as of December 4, 2025 shows global holiday hotel occupancy up a modest 0.5% from 2024, with room rates up 7% year-on-year. Tromso, Norway tops the list at 93% occupancy, followed by Aruba (89%), Queenstown, New Zealand (86%) and Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam (83%). Curacao saw the biggest year-on-year occupancy increase among the top 10 destinations (11%). Waikoloa, Hawaii achieved the highest average daily rate (ADR) among the top ten most occupied regions at $942; Guanacaste, Costa Rica averaged over $2,600; and Cairns, Australia had the lowest ADR of the top ten at $286.
