    Chongqing's A-Level Scenic Spots Receive 2.7258 Million Visitors During Mid-Autumn Holiday

    During the Mid-Autumn holiday, Chongqing launched a series of cultural-tourism consumption activities under the "Magnificent Landscapes, New Charm of Chongqing" brand. Key monitored A-level scenic spots received a total of 2.7258 million visitors. More than 100 themed cultural-tourism consumption events were held, with over 20 million yuan in consumption vouchers issued, alongside partnerships with Sinopec and Didi for fuel and ride subsidies. Museums across the city organized 105 special exhibitions and 233 cultural activities, receiving 331,500 visitors.

    Amadeus Demand360 data as of December 4, 2025 shows global holiday hotel occupancy up a modest 0.5% from 2024, with room rates up 7% year-on-year.
