On the evening of September 23, the 2026 Hakka (Meizhou) Intangible Cultural Heritage Week opened at Meizhou Academician Square in Guangdong under the theme "Moon over the Hakka Capital: Heritage Reunion," hosted by the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Association, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and the Meizhou Municipal People's Government.
