WorldSkills Competition Drives Shanghai Tourism Spending, 12.63 Million Visitors in Six Days
According to the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism and Shanghai tourism big-data monitoring, during the 48th WorldSkills Competition held from September 22 to 27, Shanghai received 12.6328 million visitors, up 9.28% year on year, with total all-element tourism transaction value covering food, lodging, transport, sightseeing, shopping and entertainment reaching RMB 29.031 billion.
