China County and District Tourism Communication Report July 2026

The Meadin Research Institute released its July 2026 tourism communication report for Chinese counties and municipal districts. The summer peak season boosted heat for summer retreats, study tours, and folk festivals. The average tourism communication index for counties was 77.05, and for municipal districts 78.36. Provinces like Anhui, Gansu, and Shanxi performed prominently, while Xinjiang led in county-level index average. The report highlights film/TV-driven traffic, festival gatherings, summer retreats, and agri-tourism integration as key county tourism features, while districts focused on night economy and events.
