Spain Fines Amadeus €14.4M Over Traveler Profiling Pilot

Spain's data protection authority fined Amadeus €14.4 million over a pilot that used GDS booking data to profile travelers, violating GDPR transparency and lawful basis articles. The fine was reduced from €18 million after voluntary payment without admitting liability. Amadeus disagrees and will appeal.
