G331 "Most Beautiful Border Highway" Jilin-Xinjiang Self-Drive Event Launches

Key points

• The event launched simultaneously from Ji'an in Jilin and Altay in Xinjiang on September 17, 2026, starting an in-depth G331 experience journey.
• It is co-hosted by the Publicity Department of the Jilin Provincial Party Committee, the Jilin Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Department of Culture and Tourism.
• The Jilin section of G331 runs 1,314 km, passing through 10 counties (cities, districts), 216 border villages and 45 scenic areas rated 3A or above.
• The convoy will pass through Hunjiang District, Linjiang City, Changbai Korean Autonomous County, Fusong County, Antu County, Helong City, Longjing City, Yanji City and Hunchun City.
• Using a "one stop, one theme; one site, one feature" model, immersive experiences will be held at sites including the Ji'an Yalu River National Gate Scenic Area, the Qiannian Yacheng Scenic Area in Changbai County, the Changbai Mountain North Scenic Area and the China Korean Folk Park in Yanji.
• The event aims to raise awareness of the "Changbai Secret Realm · Jilin Route 331" cultural tourism brand and deepen cross-regional coordination between Jilin and Xinjiang.
