2026 Sichuan Culture and Tourism Development Conference Opens Sept 28 in Chengdu

• Hosted by the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and the Sichuan Provincial People's Government, the conference opens in Chengdu on Sept 28.
• The program follows a "1+8+N" structure: one main meeting, eight supporting thematic events and multiple consumer-benefit activities.
• The main meeting will feature an immersive presentation of the "Splendid Tianfu, Leisurely Sichuan" brand and release Sichuan's 15th Five-Year Plan tourism industrial layout and investment opportunities.
• Guests include ambassadors, foreign government tourism officials, international tourism organization officials and overseas tour operators, plus representatives of China's top 30 cultural enterprises and top 20 tourism groups.
• Supporting events include the Sichuan Inbound Tourism International Travel Agents Conference, the China Animation Centenary and Animation Industry High-Quality Development Conference, and Sichuan Cultural Creativity Week.
• The animation conference will be held in Ziyang; Sichuan Cultural Creativity Week will gather well-known domestic and international IPs.
• Coinciding with the National Day holiday, Chengdu will launch more than 200 benefit activities spanning brand promotion, performances and cultural-creative animation.
• The Sichuan Culture and Tourism Development Conference has been held annually since 2019.
