IHG Signs Vignette Collection in Madrid, Accelerating Luxury & Lifestyle Growth in Spain

• IHG Hotels & Resorts announced the addition of San Bernardo, Vignette Collection in Madrid, bringing its total open and pipeline Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio in Spain to 21 properties.
• The hotel is expected to open in March 2028 with 67 rooms, located on Calle de San Bernardo in central Madrid.
• The project will transform a partially protected heritage office building into a luxury hotel, preserving key architectural features while adding an internal courtyard, an all-day dining venue, a lounge and bar, and fitness facilities.
• The property is owned by San Bernardo 19 S.L. and will be operated by Hotel Collection International, with Spanish real estate advisory and investment management firm Catella consulting on the deal.
• Spain is one of IHG's priority growth markets in Europe; its Spanish portfolio spans ten brands with continued expansion in Madrid, Barcelona, Mallorca, Málaga and Marbella.
• Since launching in 2021, Vignette Collection has passed the halfway point towards its goal of 100 hotels within ten years, with 38 open hotels and 46 in the pipeline as of 30 June 2026.
