Fourth China (Nanning)-ASEAN Intangible Cultural Heritage Week Opens

The fourth China (Nanning)-ASEAN Intangible Cultural Heritage Week opened on 24 September in the Sanjie Liangxiang historic district of Nanning under the theme "Intangible Heritage Mid-Autumn Wonder Tour." The opening show brought together Chinese and ASEAN heritage performances including fish-lantern processions, Zhuang drumming, Guizhou Dong grand song, Jing single-string zither, Yunnan divine-bird dance, Myanmar harp and Malaysian Mek Mulung, plus a puppet fire-spitting face-changing act paired with a robot face-changing performance.
