    Beijing-Zhangjiakou Sports and Culture Tourism Belt Exchange Held

    On September 24 the "Roaming Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei" Beijing-Zhangjiakou sports and culture tourism belt exchange was held at the Beijing Expo International Tourism Resort, releasing six Beijing-loop routes and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Scenic Pass Suixiang Card. The six routes start in Beijing and link quality attractions in Tianjin and Hebei, lasting three to seven days. The card, guided by the three regions' culture and tourism departments and issued by Beijing Cultural Innovation Board, is priced at 288 yuan, covers over 200 attractions with nearly 10,000 yuan in total ticket value, and offers unlimited free entry at 160 of them.     North China Camping Market Moves Toward Maturity and Value for Money

    The 2026 Shijiazhuang RV and Camping Festival was held from 10 to 13 September at the Hutuo River Art Ecological Island in Zhengding county. iiMedia Research data shows growth stabilising after a high-growth phase, with the core camping economy expected to approach 500 billion yuan by 2030. Liu Xiaolong, secretary-general of the Beijing RV, Camping and Self-Driving Tourism Association, said the northern peak season runs from April to October, with Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei resources complementing each other and Hebei becoming a key weekend destination. Equipment vendors report a shift from full-kit purchases to lightweight, on-demand buying.

    20 Cases Selected as 2026 Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Sports Tourism Best Practices

    On the afternoon of September 11, the Sports Leisure and Outdoor Recreation High-Quality Development Forum was held at Shougang Park in Beijing, where 20 cases were released as 2026 Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei sports tourism best practices. They cover sports events, outdoor recreation and Winter Olympics legacy, with 9 in sports event-tourism integration, 5 in outdoor recreation-tourism integration and 6 in Winter Olympics legacy-tourism integration. The collection was organized by China Tourism News and China Sports Press, supported by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Sports, aiming to deepen integration of sports events, outdoor recreation and Winter Olympics legacy with tourism.
