    New research from Expedia Group and PredictHQ finds that 18 major US summer sporting events across basketball, baseball, tennis, golf and hockey were forecast to attract more than 4 million attendees and generate over $537 million in visitor spending, including roughly $259 million on accommodation and $233 million on hospitality.
