IHG and Urban sign two New South Wales hotels

IHG Hotels & Resorts announced it is expanding its partnership with Urban Property Group by signing Crowne Plaza Newcastle and Hotel Indigo Gosford, bringing the pair's New South Wales collaboration to three hotels. The two had already signed Crowne Plaza Parramatta in 2025. The new hotels will anchor major mixed-use developments in Gosford and Newcastle. Crowne Plaza Newcastle is expected to open in late 2029 with 171 rooms within a 43-storey development, featuring all-day dining, a lobby bar, more than 550 sqm of meetings and events space including a 425 sqm ballroom, a pool and landscaped public spaces.
