    Beijing Deploys 72 Robots Across 14 Municipal Parks

    Since Beijing's municipal park robot application program fully launched in July 2026, parks including the Summer Palace, Beihai and Yuyuantan have introduced a first batch of 72 robots covering six operational scenarios: cleaning, smart inspection, inquiry and guiding, water rescue, landscaping and ecological monitoring. Water-surface cleaning robots can automatically set out, return and recharge without human intervention. Yuyuantan Park has deployed 11 robots on a regular basis for safety management, environmental protection, landscaping and ecological monitoring.     World's First Embodied Intelligence Theme Park Opens in Hengqin, Guangdong

    On September 24, 2026, Chimelong Group and AgiBot opened the world's first embodied intelligence theme park in Hengqin, Guangdong. The park deploys nearly 1,000 embodied intelligent robots across six scenarios: performances, AI education, smart guiding, research learning, smart companionship, and hotel reception. At the opening ceremony, the Chimelong-AgiBot Cultural Tourism Embodied Intelligence Research Institute was inaugurated, focusing on humanoid robot scenario adaptation, algorithm iteration, and commercial validation.

    Guangdong Releases 25 AI-plus-Cultural-Tourism Cases

    On September 22, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism hosted the AI-plus-culture-and-tourism session of the second Guangdong AI Application Matchmaking Conference in Guangzhou. The department, together with the provincial development and reform commission and the industry and information technology department, released 25 typical 2026 Guangdong AI-plus-culture-and-tourism cases: 14 application-scenario cases and 11 application-product-and-service cases, covering smart museums, smart libraries, intelligent guides, intangible heritage digitization and low-altitude cultural tourism. A demand list for AI-plus-culture-and-tourism applications was also released.

    Shanghai's First AI-Glasses City Companion Pilot Lands in Yuyuan

    During the 2026 Inclusion Bund Conference, Shanghai's first AI-glasses city-companion pilot launched on 9 September at the Yuyuan scenic area in Huangpu District. Visitors wearing Qwen AI glasses can access historical commentary on old buildings, voice navigation, real-time translation and direct payment for goods, linking commentary, Q&A, navigation, translation and consumption while reducing phone searches and app switching. Dayuyuan said it hopes to interact with visitors intelligently, and Huangpu District cited its dense cultural landmarks and new consumption scenes as application space for AI terminals.
