Song is a senior at Hefei University's International Education College. During a trip to Taihe County, Anhui in early July, he decided to learn the craft under Zhang Peng, a banmian chef with 16 years of experience. In late July, their 'Tai You Mian' team won the Fuyang district round of the 'Super Wan' food competition, which led to their invitation to CIFTIS.
