    Pilot Upgrades Digital Ordering and Adds Self-Order Kiosks at North American Travel Centers

    Pilot Company is modernizing quick-service ordering across its 900 North American travel centers by adopting the preferred ordering technology platforms of its restaurant partners Wendy's, Arby's and Subway. The rollout is complete at Wendy's and Arby's locations and underway at Subway. Upgrades include mobile ordering, loyalty participation and brand offers, plus integration with third-party delivery providers. Pilot has installed 156 self-order kiosks at 78 Wendy's locations, with kiosks that are ADA-compliant.

    UK Airports Improve Accessibility as Demand for Assistance Hits Record

    The UK CAA published its annual Airport Accessibility Report for 2025/26. A record 5.9 million passengers used assistance services in 2025, up 115.8% since 2015. Of 28 airports, 19 were rated 'Very Good' and 9 'Good', with none 'Needs Improvement' or 'Poor'. However, satisfaction among disabled passengers (82%) is lower than overall (88%), and 58% of disabled consumers reported difficulties.

    SAP Concur's Japan team took part in Mirairo Inc.'s "Bremen Survey Team" event, using the map-based accessibility app Bmaps to survey the Ginza area around its Tokyo office from a wheelchair perspective and post accessibility information. The event began with basic disability education, noting barriers affect not only people with disabilities but also the elderly, stroller users, and foreign visitors, and highlighting the "information barrier." Participants surveyed Ginza in groups, taking turns as wheelchair user and supporter, finding even slight slopes, height differences, and obstacles in passageways difficult; some older buildings lack elevators and have stepped surfaces of seven inche…
