At the 2026 Hangzhou Yunqi Conference, Fliggy and Alibaba Cloud Bailian announced the launch of a travel AI hackathon, open to all individual developers, with outstanding works and developers receiving token subsidies, expert coaching and commercial ecosystem resources. Fliggy upgraded its domestic flight refund protection standard for F4, F5, F6 and all 88VIP members, offering a 12% discount on airline refund fees, i.e., Fliggy subsidises 12% of the fee. The benefit applies to one-way direct, stopover, connecting and round-trip itineraries, limited to five times per person per calendar year, deducted by flight segment.
