    California's Laguna Cliffs Marriott in Dana Point to Convert to JW Marriott

    The Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa in Dana Point, California, will undergo a multimillion-dollar renovation and convert to the luxury JW Marriott brand as The Ocean Cliffs at Dana Point, a JW Marriott Resort. The 371-key property will continue to be managed by Plano, Texas-based Aimbridge Hospitality. Upon debut, it will offer redesigned guest rooms, an expanded multiacre event lawn, a revamped arrival area, a signature chef-driven restaurant, and enhanced meetings and events facilities including a new 6,000-square-foot ballroom.     Plans advance for a proposed JW Marriott hotel in downtown Phoenix

    Developer LaPour Partners is advancing plans to convert a 19-story office tower in downtown Phoenix into a 340-room JW Marriott. The proposed JW Marriott Downtown Phoenix at the mixed-use Arizona Center will feature a resort-style pool, outdoor event venues, food and beverage concepts, a fitness center, and 15,000 square feet of meeting space. The project aims to address demand for luxury hotels and benefits from demand drivers including the Phoenix Convention Center and Arizona State University Downtown Phoenix campus.
