Field & Stream Lodge Co. Expands to Oregon and California

Field & Stream Lodge Co., the hospitality platform founded by Starwood Capital Group and AJ Capital Partners, is expanding with new hotels in Bend, Oregon, and Big Bear, California, both slated to open in 2028. The Oregon property is a 151-room basecamp transformed from the former Shilo Inn, while the Southern California property is a 148-room hotel on Village Road following renovation of the former Holiday Inn Resort Big Bear. The brand debuted in Bozeman, Montana, in May 2025. AJ Capital principal Scott Ebbott said Bend and Big Bear were selected for their similarities to Bozeman, as towns built around getting outside with year-round adventure.
